Privacy Policy

Overview

PawSync helps you store and organize pet health information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account info (email, name) via Clerk authentication
• Pet profiles you create (name, species, breed, photos)
• Health records, medications, appointments, and uploaded documents
• Usage data needed to operate the service (e.g. error logs)

How we use it

We use your data only to provide PawSync features: storing records, showing reminders, and (for Pro users) AI-assisted document extraction. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage & security

Data is stored in Neon PostgreSQL and Vercel Blob, with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access is limited to your authenticated account. See our in-app privacy settings after signing in to export your data.

AI features (Pro)

If you subscribe to PawSync Pro, uploaded document images may be sent to OpenAI for field extraction. You review all extracted data before saving. Do not upload documents you are not authorized to share.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data. Signed-in users can download a JSON export from Settings → Privacy & Security. Account deletion is handled through Clerk.
